Commerce Module- UNITS 1 T O 5

Here we are again, working and practising contents of the units we have seen in class. First of all, finish the activities you didn't do last time you were in the computer room. Click here


PAY ATTENTION. You need a paper and the activities marked as TASK TO GIVE TO THE TEACHER must be done in the paper and given to the teacher before the class finishes. They will be graded. Write your name in the paper. You can do it in pairs or individually.

Now, let's check some vocabulary of the units 3 and 4.

• dates in English: 1,    2,    3
• big numbers:   1 ,    2,   3 (do the exercise of the numbers and the exercise of vocabulary you have below)
• clothes and shop vocabulary:  1 (complete the dialogues with the given words),   2 (complete the dialogue again)

•   3 (TASK TO GIVE TO THE TEACHER. Write the words related to online shopping and translate them into  Catalan or Spanish.  Then, in the questions for conversation, choose 3 and answer them. Finally,have a look at the text about shopping online and do these reading tasks:  a) mention 3 advantages on shopping online  b) mention 2 items which have a discount this week in different stores in England     c) Which is the country with most online shoppers?

• Planning of a department store. TASK TO GIVE TO THE TEACHER- look at the plan and answer these questions in the paper: 1. Where is the scalator?    2. What's next to the lift? 3.Which floor is there the women's clothing department?    4.Where can you find the household appliances department and what can you buy there?    5. Is the snack bar between the customer service counter and the water fountain? If not, where is it situated?
